They say necessity is the mother of invention. This certainly holds true for Tiara Evans, owner of Tiaras to Go party truck.
It was her daughter’s sixth birthday and she wanted a party truck, but all the party trucks were game-centered. She wanted a princess party truck.
Evans took the idea and ran with it. Now she has a glam truck ready for even the most posh event.
Tiaras to Go was recently spotted at the annual Otter Fest at Mill Creek Elementary School. The truck was one of the most popular attractions. Evans had the glam treatment down to a fine science. From makeup to nails to friendship bracelets, each client got the full treatment in a matter of minutes.
Evans provides about 10 party packages, from “Princess” to “Queen” and everything in between. Even Barbie, Swiftie and Lilo & Stitch fans have a glam package. Evans will even decorate the truck as if it’s a spa in Paris for the older kids.
Pampering isn’t just for littles. At first Evans thought her target age was 6 to 10, but she has clients as young as 3 and as old as 12. While there are packages, the parties are fluid and transform into what makes the kids happy.
Evans has honed her party host skills. “The truck is meant to be enjoyed; it’s luxurious but still has room for singing and dancing. Sometimes when the kids come in, they’re a little shy. But it doesn’t take long … just a couple of games and they are ready for the show!
“It’s really fun for the kids; they love the spa treatment. Each client gets a tiara and a lip gloss to take home as well as rings and bracelets. It’s so much fun, and I want each and every client to feel special when they leave the truck,” Evans said.

Evans isn’t on her own with the parties, though; she has two Fairy Glam Mothers to help do makeovers and spa treatments.
Even with the extra help, there’s a wait time for the chair. Evans has this covered with karaoke sessions (complete with a bling microphone) and games. The kids enjoy a Cotton Candy Shirley Temple while they wait.
The truck is busy! It’s not uncommon to have two to three parties on a Saturday. “It’s not exactly a piece of cake, but it is fun and my staff are welltrained to ensure the kids have fun.
“It doesn’t feel like work because I get to sing and dance with the kids. We know it is work. A lot goes into it behind the scenes − packing the truck, getting it ready to roll and making sure I have enough glam products to keep the whole party happy. It is work… but it’s fun.
“I want to hear ‘Wow, what a party,’ when I’m packing up. It makes me happy.”
